JAMMU, Feb 4: MLA Suchetgarh, Sham Lal Choudhary today inaugurated newly installed transformer of 100 KVA at village Kotli Rayian of Suchetgarh Constituency. He was accompanied by PDD officials, dozens of local residents and political activists of the area.
MLA said that these areas have been facing power crisis from the past several years and they also face long hours of power cuts so for fulfilling demands of the locals of the area such step have been taken in order to eradicate the crisis of power from these areas. The funds for the installation of the transformer were sanctioned by the MLA from his Constituency Development Fund (CDF) an amount of Rs 5 lakh. MLA assured the residents of the area that their legitimate demands would be fulfilled in a phased manner as Government at Centre led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has resolved total development and prosperity of the State. Others who were present during the occasion including Jasbir Singh Lucky, ex Sarpanch, Swarn Singh Chib, Mandal Pardhan, Satpaul Pappi, ex district president of BJP, Capt. (retd) Karnail Singh, Omkar Singh etc.
