JAMMU, Feb 17: After a prolonged gap of five years due to the COVID-19 pandemic, public transportation services in Shakti Nagar area have officially resumed today after senior BJP leader and MLA Jammu West, Arvind Gupta flagged off the four-wheeler passenger auto service from Shakti Nagar (near AG Office) to Parade Ground.
Speaking on the occasion, Arvind Gupta claimed that BJP-led Government was committed to address public transportation challenges.
“Introduction of four-wheeler passenger autos will provide cost-effective and convenient commuting option,” he said.
Arvind reiterated his dedication for the welfare of the people and pledged to continue working towards the betterment of infrastructure and public services in Jammu West.
The event witnessed the presence of prominent BJP leaders and public representatives including Mandal president, Kushant Daffara, Ex-Councillor, Surinder Choudhary and senior BJP leaders, Bawa Sharma, Vedu Sharma, Zorawar Singh Jamwal, Rekha Sharma, Mohit Vaid, Karan Sharma and Renu Choudhary.
