JAMMU, Dec 7: MLA Jammu West Arvind Gupta today inaugurated development work in Ward No. 26, marking another significant step toward improving civic infrastructure in the constituency.
The projects, estimated at a cost of Rs 10 lakh, aim to address long-pending demands of residents and enhance their living condition. The event witnessed the presence of several prominent party members and local representatives, including Mandal president Kushyant Prajapati, Mohit Gupta, Mangal Singh, Parshotam Singh Chib, Suresh, Arti Khajuria, and Jatin Gupta.
Addressing the gathering, Arvind said, “Our commitment has always been to ensure that every ward in Jammu West receives equal attention and the benefits of development. These works will resolve multiple civic issues and provide better facilities to the people. We are working tirelessly to fulfill the promises made to our citizens.”
He added that development at the grassroots level remains his top priority and assured residents that more projects will soon be initiated across the constituency.
The newly launched works include improvement of lanes, repair and upgradation of existing drainage systems, and strengthening of public convenience facilities.
Local residents expressed gratitude to the MLA for responding promptly to their concerns and ensuring that the developmental needs of the ward are addressed without delay.
Gupta further stated, “The support of the people inspires us to accelerate our efforts. I assure you that we will continue to work with complete dedication for a cleaner, safer, and better-connected Jammu West.”
He urged citizens to actively participate in monitoring public works and to extend cooperation to executing agencies for timely completion of projects.
BJP workers and residents of Ward No. 26 also participated in large numbers, reflecting strong community support for the ongoing development initiatives.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, as locals reiterated their appreciation for the MLA’s continuous efforts to bring visible improvements to the area.
