BISHNAH, May 31: MLA Bishnah, Dr. Rajev Bhagat here today started construction of a vital road project. The initiative, undertaken under NABARD Rural Infrastructure Development Fund (RIDF)-XXVIII, will see the construction of a 2 km road connecting Government Primary School Pandorian to Shamshan Ghat/Gujjar Basti and its allied links within Block Arnia.
The project will be executed with an estimated cost of Rs. 305.80 lakh by Public Works Department (Roads & Buildings) Sub Division Bishnah.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Bhagat stated that the newly sanctioned road will significantly benefit the residents of Pandorian, Shamshan Ghat, Gujjar Basti, and adjoining areas by providing improved access to essential services, educational institutions, healthcare facilities and market areas.
He reiterated his commitment to bring more developmental projects in Bishnah constituency and assured the public of his continued efforts towards addressing their needs and aspirations.
Officials from PWD (R&B) Sub Division Bishnah assured the MLA and the public of their commitment to execute the project efficiently and adhering to quality standards. They expressed confidence in completing the road within stipulated timeframe.
