CHENANI, Apr 18: During a tour of his Assembly constituency to assess public grievances, MLA Chenani Krishan Chander Bhagat sanctioned development funds of about Rs 16 lakh from his Constituency Development Funds.
During the tour, workers also organized Public Darbars which were attended by Tehsil level Government Officers of various departments, Sarpanchs, Panchs and a large number of locals.
The MLA listened to public grievances and gave on the spot necessary instructions to the Government Officers for the redressal. He sanctioned Rs 1.5 ;akh for the construction of footpath from main road to Middle School Bach at Gouri Kund, Rs 10.34 lakh for the Girls School Building at SudhMahadev, Rs 0.50 lakh for School ground, Rs 2.50 lakh for the construction of bridge, Rs 1.00 lakh for the repair of bridge and Rs 0.50 lakh for the shelter shed.
Block Congress Committee Udhampur President Vijay Manhas, Sarpanch Ashok Sharma, Vinod Mathur, Sarpanch Preetam, Sarpanch Balbinder, Sarpanch Om Parkash Atri, and Ved Sharma accompanied the MLA during the tour.
