JAMMU, Jan 21: MLA Jammu West, Arvind Gupta here today released PoJK 2025 Calendar for Jammu district wing of PoJK Visthapit Sewa Samiti.
The Calendar features significant photographs depicting the displacement of PoJK refugees during 1947, 1962 and 1965, along with highlighting the Pakistan occupied Territory of Ladakh (PoTL) and China occupied Territory of Ladakh (CoTL).
Speaking on the occasion, Arvind Gupta emphasized that displacement of communities from PoJK remains one of the most tragic chapters in Indian history and it is crucial to ensure that their pain and sacrifices are never forgotten.
He said that release of PoJK 2025 Calendar serves as a poignant reminder of injustices suffered by these families and need to work towards restoring their rightful place in history.
Gupta further stated that the Central Government, under the leadership of PM Modi remains steadfast in its commitment to reclaim PoJK, PoTL and CoTL.
He assured that every effort is being made to secure justice for the displaced populations and to ensure their rehabilitation and empowerment.
The event was attended by Rakesh Gupta, convener Jammu District Samiti; Naresh Vohra, Arun Gupta, Kushant Prajapati, Mandal president; Chaman Lal, Karan Sharma and others.
