RAMGARH, Aug 21 : MLA Ramgarh and former Minister for Health & Medical Education, Dr Devinder Kumar Manyal today visited the flood-affected areas of Sanoora and Sarthia, where culverts and local infrastructure suffered extensive damage.
During the visit, Dr Manyal personally assessed the ground situation and reviewed the damages caused by the floods.
Interacting with local residents, the MLA assured them of all possible assistance and emphasized the government’s commitment to providing timely relief.
Dr Manyal directed the administration to ensure immediate redressal of public grievances and restoration of essential services.
“Only permanent and durable solutions should be implemented, rather than temporary measures, to prevent recurring hardships for the people,” he said.
“Public welfare remains the top priority,” said Dr Manyal and assured continuous monitoring of the situation until normalcy is fully restored.
The MLA also spoke directly with officials from the Flood Control Department and instructed the XEN Flood Control and XEN PWD to jointly prepare and execute effective restoration works at the earliest.
SDM Ghagwal, Executive Engineer (XEN) PWD, Tehsildar Rajpura and BDO Rajpura also accompanied the MLA during his visit.
