CHENANI, Feb 14: Balwant Singh Mankotia, MLA Chenani, today inaugurated and reviewed multiple development works aimed at strengthening infrastructure in the constituency.
He inaugurated the commencement of work on a canal (kool) in Sarar Panchayat approved at an estimated cost of around Rs 5 crore. The project is expected to significantly improve irrigation facilities and benefit the farming community.
Following the approval of Rs 50 lakh, the MLA also inaugurated the approach road to the new Bus Stand Chenani (Sanghot) from the National Highway, enhancing connectivity and easing public transportation access for local residents.
Later, he inspected the entrance road to Mantalai, a project approved at a cost of Rs 90 lakh, and directed officials to ensure quality work and timely completion.
The MLA reiterated his commitment to accelerating development and improving essential infrastructure across the Chenani constituency.
