JAMMU, Sept 5: Member Legislative Assembly (MLA) West Sat Sharma visited Buta Nagar area and listened to the problems being faced by the people.
Chairman of Buta Nagar Welfare Committee Uttam Singh and President PK Chowdhary presented memorandum of demands to the MLA.
The committee members apprised the MLA about the problems being faced by the people. Singh demanded construction of deep drain in the lanes to find a permanent solution of rain water exit which always floods the houses of some lanes during rainy season, installation of additional transformer of 250 KVA, repairs of lanes and drains, installation of street lights, regular supply of drinking water, etc.
MLA gave patient hearing to the demands raised by the Committee members and assured redressal at the earliest.
