NEW DELHI, Oct 8: MLA Kalakote-Sunderbani, Th. Randhir Singh met Union Minister for Coal and Mines, G. Kishan Reddy in New Delhi and discussed the critical issues related to coal mining in his Constituency.
The MLA highlighted the plight of workers of the Mehtka-Moughla Coal Mines particularly regarding their long-pending Coal Mines Provident Fund (CMPF) and pension issues.
He also emphasized the need for exploration and revival of new coal mines in Kalakote, underlining their importance for local employment and regional economic growth.
The Union Minister assured the MLA that his Ministry will take necessary steps to address these issues at the earliest.
