UDHAMPUR, Feb 1: MLA Udhampur West constituency, Pawan Kumar Gupta today announced today that a new project worth Rs 127 crore for the Jal Shakti Department has been approved to ensure clean and efficient water supply across Udhampur.
Additionally, he added, a new park will be developed in Udhampur, providing a recreational and relaxation space for local residents.
MLA Gupta also stated that the renovation and beautification of old water springs (Bolian) in the Thanda Paddar and Barrian areas will be carried out to promote water conservation and restore historical water sources.
For these initiatives, MLA Pawan Kumar Gupta expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Lt Governor Manoj Sinha, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and others.
The MLA assured that he will personally monitor the progress of these projects to ensure their timely and high-quality completion for the benefit of the people of Udhampur.
