JAMMU, Mar 22: Jodh Ram Sharma, father of MLA, Inderwal Constituency in district Kishtwar, Payare Lal Sharma passed away here today.
Family sources said that J R Sharma was not keeping well for the past some time and was presently undergoing treatment in GMC Hospital, Jammu. He took his last breath at around 4.50 pm in the hospital here on Sunday.
His body was taken to his home village- Passerkoot, in Chattroo Sub Division in district Kishtwar. The last rites will be performed on Monday at 11 am at Passerkoot village.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of the father of Payare Lal Sharma, MLA, Inderwal.
In his condolence message, the Chief Minister extended his heartfelt sympathies to Sharma and his family during this difficult time. He described the loss as irreparable and prayed for strength and courage for the bereaved family to bear the grief.
