BISHNAH, Nov 21: To improve the living standards of residents in rural pockets, MLA Bishnah, Dr. Rajeev Bhagat here today inaugurated development works in three key Panchayats within Block Arnia-Panchayat Chak Majra, Panchayat Pachail and Panchayat Trewa and a total of 29 distinct projects were launched carrying a combined worth of about Rs. 69 lakh.
The works include construction of new concrete lanes for better connectivity within villages and the establishment of proper drainage systems to improve overall sanitation and hygiene.
Furthermore, the development package included the construction of protection walls to safeguard infrastructure, alongside other vital sanitation facilities. These initiatives are expected to resolve several long-standing demands of the local populace regarding basic amenities.
The MLA was accompanied by key administrative officials including Dr. Viplove Sudan, Block Development Officer Arnia and his team.
Those present on the occasion were Supinder Sharma, general secretary Arnia Mandal, Ashwani Saini, Bharat Bhushan, Lal Chand, Arjun Saini, Sahil Malhotra, former Sarpanches Dharminder Singh and Balbir Kour, and former Naib Sarpanch Parshotam.
