SRINAGAR, May 26: MLA Hazratbal, Salman Ali Sagar, held a public darbar at Ellahi Bagh today to engage directly with residents and address their grievances. The event saw a massive turnout, reflecting the public’s enthusiasm for direct interaction with their elected representative.
During the darbar, residents from Ellahi Bagh and adjoining areas highlighted various civic and developmental issues. MLA Sagar patiently listened to the concerns and assured prompt redressal. Many issues were resolved on the spot, showcasing the efficacy of such grassroots-level engagements.
A noteworthy aspect of the event was the presence of all key district officers, who ensured immediate response to the grievances raised. From power supply issues and sanitation problems to road repairs and water availability, several long-pending concerns were addressed then and there.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Sagar reiterated his commitment to transparent and accountable governance. “Our aim is to bridge the gap between the public and administration. This initiative allows us to understand people’s problems firsthand and act swiftly,” he said.
