VIJAYPUR, Mar 16: MLA Vijaypur Chander Parkash started the work of vented causeway worth rupees 70 lakhs on Babli Sumbli road, here today.
The work was started in presence of DDC Avtar Singh.
Speaking on the occasion Ganga said, “The locals used to face immense difficulties in raining season as this road use to get struck with flash floods and ultimately stops the connectivity with the remaining region. The locals had apprehension and have conveyed this to me as well as DDC Avtar Singh.”
He said, “The vented causeway will provide all weather road and will provide connectivity to the upper region 365 days. I congratulate people of Babli Sumbli as well DDC Avtar Singh.”
Among others, who were present during the function included BJP Block President, Narinder Singh, BJP senior leader Vicky Sharma, Naib Sarpanch Manjeet Singh, Khatab Hussain, Deepak Kumar, Lal Din and Javed Malik.
