POONCH, Sept 17: Member Legislative Assembly from Surankote had narrow escape after his vehicle met with an accident near Jarran Wali Gali, in Poonch district today.
Reports said that the mishap took place when MLA Surankote Choudhary Mohd Akram was on his way towards Mendhar to meet Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah on Wednesday. When he reached near Jaran Wali Gali, a Tata Mobile vehicle collided with his Scarpio vehicle, though all people including MLA were safe but vehicle receives damage on driver side. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
