KATHUA, Feb 19: Member Legislative Assembly Kathua, Dr Bharat Bhushan today dedicated a Modern Road Sweeping Vehicle (RSV) to the public of Kathua.
In this regard a function was organized here to formally start the operations of Modern Road Sweeping Vehicle.
The Chief Executive Officer of Municipal Council outlined the salient features of the mechanized vehicle which costs over Rs 65 lakhs.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Kathua Dr Bharat Bhushan expressed hope that with the introduction of Modern Road Sweeping Vehicle, the sanitation scenario of Kathua will improve.
He especially thanked Mandeep Kour, Commissioner/Secretary Housing & Urban Development for providing this vehicle to Kathua Municipal Council through Director Urban Local Bodies, Jammu.
The Chief Executive Officer Municipal Council Kathua, Amit Sharma, Prof Adarsh Malhotra and Dr Vishal Malagar were also present on the occasion.
