MLA dedicates developmental works worth Rs 46 lakhs to people

KATHUA, Nov 21: Member Legislative Assembly Kathua Dr Bharat Bhushan today dedicated three development works worth Rs 46 Lakhs to the people of Kathua.
Dr Bharat Bhushan first inaugurated badminton court in Government Primary School, Patel Nagar Kathua created at an estimated cost of Rs 8 lakhs. This facility will benefit the residents of Patel Nagar, Shivpuri, Dreamland Park & Shiva Nagar areas of Kathua.
Then in the premises of Government Middle School, Barmora, the MLA laid foundation stone of a volleyball court which will be constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 15 lakhs. This facility will provide playing area to the students of the school besides catering to the areas of Sabzi Mandi, Chenab Textile Mills locality & Ward Number 21 of Kathua.
Thereafter, the MLA visited Chak Phoolan, Government Primary School & laid foundation of two Additional Class Rooms. These two rooms will be constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 23 lakh & will cater to the classrooms requirement of the school which has 87 students on its rolls.
Among others who attended the functions included Raghunandan Singh Bablu, Prem Nath Dogra, Ravinder Sharma, Sunil Dogra, Rahul Dev, Ravinder Pathania, Ashok Sharma, Seema Kumari, Deepak Sharma, Mohan Lal, Anirudh Sharma, Former Councillor, Sanjay Kumar, Amit Sudan, Bablu Jasrotia, Karan Singh, Bhanu Partap and staff members of the Rural Development Department.
