KATHUA, Nov 26: Member Legislative Assembly, Kathua, Dr. Bharat Bhushan today dedicated three works to the people aggregating to Rs 46 lakh.
Dr. Bharat Bhushan first inaugurated Badminton Court in Government Primary School, Patel Nagar Kathua created at an estimated cost of 8 lakhs. This facility will benefit the residents of Patel Nagar, Shivpuri, Dreamland Park & Shiva Nagar areas of Kathua.
Then in the premises of Government Middle School, Barmora, MLA laid foundation stone of a Volley Ball Court which will be constructed at an estimated cost of Rs15 lakh. This facility will provide playing area to the students of the School besides catering to the areas of Sabzi Mandi, Chenab Textile Mills locality and Ward Number 21 of Kathua.
Thereafter MLA visited Chak Phoolan , Government Primary School and laid foundation of two Additional Class Rooms. These two rooms will be constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 23 lakh and will cater to the class rooms requirement of the School which has 87 students on its rolls.
Raghunandan Singh Bablu, DDC Vice Chairman, Prem Nath Dogra, State Executive Member BJP, Ravinder Sharma, former president, Municipal Committee, Lakhanpur, Sunil Dogra, BDO Kathua, Rahul Dev, City Mandal, Pardhan, Ravinder Pathania, former councillor others besides the staff members of the Rural Development Department, Uyouth services and Sports Department and local residents of the area were present on the occasion.
