MLA, DDC Chairman announce details of Parikrama Yatra

Katra, Mar 6: BJP Katra MLA Baldev Raj Sharma and DDC Reasi Chairman Saraf Singh Nag today announced details of the Parikrama Yatra of Trikuta Parbat, which is scheduled to take place on March 8. This grand spiritual journey will be joined by MP Jugal Kishore Sharma and MLA Kuldeep Raj Dubey.
They shared important details regarding the yatra route, reception points, and event schedule. The Parikrama Yatra will commence from Bhumika Mandir, Katra, at 7:00 am, with a Shubh Arambh Puja, marking the beginning of the holy journey. This pilgrimage will take devotees through various religious and historical sites across Reasi, providing them with an opportunity to seek divine blessings.
According to the schedule, the yatra will have several key stops. After the initial puja at Bhumika Mandir, Katra, devotees will depart for Reasi at 8:00 AM, where a reception ceremony will be held at Dak Bungalow at 8:30 AM. The yatra will then proceed to Kalika Ji Mandir at Gourta Harotekote at 9:00 am, followed by a stop at Chiralakote at 10:00 am. The journey will continue with visits to Tote (near the hospital) from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon and Devigarh from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. After a grand reception at Sukhalgati from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm, another reception will take place there at 5:30 PM. Devotees will then depart from Junglegali for Panthal at 6:30 PM, where a final reception will be held at 7:30 PM, before returning to Bhumika Mandir, Katra, by 8:00 PM.
The press conference was attended by Rohit Dubey (BJP district president, Reasi), Shashi Gupta (ex-Municipality Chairman), Sohan Lal (Mandal President, Katra), Bhuri Singh (Mandal President, Bhomag), and Sukhdev Singh (Mahant of Trikuta Parvat Yatra). Their presence highlighted the significance of this pilgrimage and reinforced the commitment to making it a grand success.
