BASHOLI, Sept 4: In order to provide some relief to flood affected families of Basholi constituency, MLA Darshan Singh today released Rs one crore from his Constituency Development Fund (CDF).
In this regard, he write a letter to Deputy Commissioner Kathua Rajesh Sharma and asked him to release Rs one crore from his CDF in favour of SDRF to make arrange immediate relief, temporary accommodation arrangements.
Speaking on the occasion, Singh said that this support is aimed at ensuring temporary shelter until permanent arrangement under SDRF is available.
“I am regularly visiting to affected areas and listening the woes of peoples and making possible arrangements for free tents, ration and shelter at nearby places. My team is working 24 hours to help the needy people and it is need of hour to release funds in favour of the affected families,” he added.
