JAMMU, Jan 23: In a significant move to enhance the living standards of residents in the Bishnah constituency, MLA Dr Rajeev Bhagat inaugurated development projects today in Panchayat Kanhal and Panchayat Sehora-B.
The initiatives, which total Rs 70 lakh, comprise Rs 28 lakh allocated for Panchayat Kanhal and Rs 42 lakh for Panchayat Sehora-B. These projects, funded under CAPEX and the CD & Panchayat scheme, aim to provide modern amenities directly to the community.
Speaking at the inauguration, Dr Bhagat articulated his vision for transforming Bishnah into a model constituency. “Our goal is to ensure that every locality within Bishnah enjoys access to high-quality infrastructure and essential facilities,” he stated with conviction.
He emphasized the importance of maintaining the quality of work and urged the Block Development Officer of Bishnah, Sonia Devi, to expedite the development efforts. In response, Sonia Devi affirmed her commitment to uphold construction quality and assured that all directives from the MLA would be executed diligently.
