JAMMU, May 16: As a mark of respect and gratitude to the Indian Armed Forces for their recent successful surgical strike under Operation Sindoor in Pakistan, senior BJP leader and MLA Jammu West, Arvind Gupta today led a spirited Tiranga Yatra in Rehari (Ward No. 25).
The event, organized with great enthusiasm, was a resounding expression of unity, patriotism and collective resolve to stand by the nation’s protectors.
The event saw enthusiastic participation from residents of all age groups, particularly senior citizens of the ward, whose presence added emotional depth and patriotic fervor to the celebration.
Chanting slogans of Bharat Mata Ki Jai and waving the national flag with pride, the people of Rehari reaffirmed their unflinching support to the armed forces and their dedication to national unity.
Addressing the gathering, MLA Arvind Gupta stated that the Tiranga Yatra symbolizes India’s unwavering commitment to national security, integrity and sovereignty.
“The valor of our soldiers fills every Indian heart with pride. This Yatra is not just a walk of honor but a pledge to uphold the ideals and sacrifices that our Tricolor represents,” he said.
The MLA also praised the Modi Government for its decisive leadership and robust national security strategy.
“Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visionary leadership, India has shown the world that it will never compromise on its sovereignty or security,” he added.
The Yatra concluded with the singing of the national anthem, leaving behind a renewed sense of patriotism and collective responsibility among the people.
