JAMMU, Jan 31: Member Legislative Assembly (MLA) Jammu West, Arvind Gupta, today launched the development work for a new lane near Krishna Nagar Park in Ward number 12.
The project, estimated to cost Rs 30 lakh, aims to enhance local infrastructure and improve the quality of life for residents.
Speaking at the event, Arvind Gupta highlighted the progress Jammu has made under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
He stressed that the BJP-led Government has shifted development from promises to tangible outcomes, focusing on modernizing Jammu with better roads, drainage systems and public spaces.
Gupta also commended the work of local BJP workers and public representatives, who he said are dedicated to resolving civic issues and speeding up development projects.
He assured residents that infrastructure improvements would continue across Jammu West, with an emphasis on roads, sanitation, and urban planning.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by several senior BJP leaders, including Mandal President Anil Angral, former corporator Jeet Angral, and local dignitaries.
Representatives from the Jammu Municipal Corporation were also present.
Gupta called on local residents to actively engage in the development process and reaffirmed the BJP’s commitment to making Jammu a model constituency for the Union Territory.
