UDHAMPUR, Sept 27: A young housewife was found dead in Nallah Mallian at village Nallah Ghorian in Ghordi area of Udhampur District.
The deceased, identified as Makhno Devi (40), wife of Om Prakash, resident of Nallah Ghorian, was missing since September 25 and her body was spotted this morning in Nallah Mallian under suspicious circumstances.
The body was spotted by some locals, who informed the Ghordi Police, which reached the spot and shifted the body to mortuary room of PHC.
Apparent cause of death could not be ascertained while Police have initiated inquest proceedings under 174 CrPC for further investigation.
