MENDHAR, June 23: Police has registered a complaint against PDD authorities after a buffalo was electrocuted while a minor boy sustained electric shock after they came in contact with a live wire, which was lying on the ground but hanging with an electric pole on one end.
Reports said that son of Mohd Ishfaq of Ari was grazing buffalo when they came in contact with the live wire. While buffalo died on the spot, the boy sustain severe electric shock. He was rushed to hospital and his condition was stated to be out of danger.
Later, the locals held a strong protest against the PDD authorities and alleged that despite their repeated requests, the live wire was not removed since days.
Acting on the complaint of people, Police registered a case in this connection.
