JAMMU, Sept 10: The Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, has ordered the posting of senior IPS officer Abdul Ghani Mir (AGMUT: 1994) to the Jammu and Kashmir segment of the joint AGMUT cadre.

“Consequent upon joining the cadre on repatriation from Central deputation, Abdul Ghani Mir, IPS (AGMUT: 1994) is hereby posted to Jammu and Kashmir segment of joint AGMUT cadre with immediate effect and until further orders,” read an order issued by Rakesh Kumar Singh, Under Secretary to the Government, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India.
