SRINAGAR, Dec 14: Mohd Akbar Mir, younger brother of JKPCC president Ghulam Ahmed Mir passed away here last night.
He was 58 and is survived by two sons and a daughter. The burial took place today morning.
Former AICC President Rahul Gandhi contacted GA Mir on phone and conveyed deepest condolences.
The rank and file of the Congress Party in J&K, expressed shock over the untimely death of JKPCC chief’s brother and prayed for the peace to the departed soul and courage to the bereaved family members.
