KATHUA, Sept 30: A minor girl was rescued and the kidnapper was arrested from Lakhanpur area.
As per police sources, a minor girl hailing from Loung area of Tehsil Bani was kidnapped by Jaswant Singh, a resident of same village few days back.
The family members had reported the matter to Bani police and a case was registered in this regard.
On specific information, police team conducted raid in Lakhanpur area and rescued the girl. The accused was also arrested on the spot.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
