UDHAMPUR, June 30: Police rescued a kidnapped minor girl and arrested the accused.
As per police sources, a family lodged a complaint with police station Udhampur stating that their minor daughter has been kidnapped by Ravinder Singh, son of Badh Nath, a resident of Samsati Pur, Patna, presently residing at Garian Talab, Udhampur.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 205/16 under Section 363 RPC was registered at Udhampur police station and investigation started.
On specific inputs, a team from Udhampur police station conducted raid in Battal Ballian area and rescued the minor girl. The accused was also arrested.
The girl has been restored to family members after completing legal formalities.
Police team led by SHO Udhampur Inspector OP Chib rescued the minor and arrested the accused under the supervision of SSP Udhampur Mohammad Suleman Choudhary.
