KISHTWAR, Mar 20: A minor boy was killed while his brother sustained injuries after a car rolled down into gorge in Cherji Dool area.
As per police sources, one Alto K10 car bearing registration number JK17-7499 rolled down into gorge near Cherji Dool area, resulting injuries to two persons.
On getting information, police team rushed to the spot and started rescue operation. Both the injured persons were shifted to District Hospital Kishtwar, where one of them succumbed to his injuries.
The deceased was identified as Sujal Kumar (17), son of Satish Kumar while the injured was identified as Gulshan Kumar (12), son of Satish Kumar. Both were brothers and resident of Chergi Dool area of District Kishtwar.
After completing medical and legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to legal heirs for last rites.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Police Station Kishtwar and investigation started to ascertain the cause of the accident.
