MENDHAR, Jan 22: A minor school-going girl has been kidnapped by a Sumo driver from Mendhar area of Poonch.
The parents of the girl started searching after the girl, a student of 12th class did not return from school on January 16. They came to know that she had been kidnapped by one Mohd Ashraf, son of Mohd Latief, resident of Gursai. The youth is a Sumo driver.
Khadam Hussain, father of the girl lodged an FIR No. 3/2013 with the Gursai police in this connection. The police has started manhunt for the girl and her kidnapper.
