JAMMU, May 8: A minor girl today allegedly tried to commit suicide by hanging herself in Gole Gujral area falling under the jurisdiction of Police Post Pouni Chak.
According to a police spokesperson, 12 years Priya, daughter of Salim and resident of Tamil Nadu presently working as a maid in Gole Gujral area was found hanging in her room. Her family members when noticed, immediately shifted her to Government Medical College Jammu, where her condition was reported to be critical when the last reports came in, he added.
A case in this regard has been registered at Police Post Pouni Chak and the investigations started.
