Minor boy’s body recovered

RAJOURI, Apr 5: The dead body of a 14-year-old boy, who was missing for the last two days was recovered from a Nallah near Bela Colony here today.
The boy was missing from his residence in Bela Colony area of Rajouri town and the family members and relatives were searching for him. The boy was found lying under mysterious circumstances under the bridge. The family is suspecting murder and has demanded a fair investigation.
Reports said police received information that the dead body of a boy was lying near the bridge of Bela Colony in Rajouri city. Police reached the spot and took the dead body into custody and sent it to GMC Rajouri for autopsy.
During investigation, the police came to know that the body belonged to Aqib Chowdhary, son of Mohammad Shabbir Chowdhary, a resident of Bela Colony, whose age is said to be about 14 years and who had gone missing from his house.
The police handed over the dead body to the family after post-mortem as well as completing other legal formalities, A case has been registered under section 174 of IPC i.e. death under suspicious circumstances.
Describing it as a case of murder, the family members of the deceased teenager said that their son had left home for some work but did not return home and had lodged a missing report with the police. The family is quite sure that some people have murdered their innocent son and threw the dead body under the bridge.
