REASI, Apr 15: A 9-year-old boy was crushed to death by a car at Talwara while a woman was hit and injured by a car in Pouni area.
As per the information, an Alto car bearing registration number JK20B-3010 hit a minor boy namely Lakshadeep son of Balwant Singh, resident of Chillad (at present Talwara), near Ram Lila Ground at Talwara and injured him seriously. The locals shifted the boy to DH Reasi where doctors declared him brought dead. Talwara police had arrested two persons in this regard and started investigation.
Meanwhile, a woman identified as Santosh Devi (40) wife of Gopal Singh, resident of Bharakh, was hit and severely injured by a car in Bharakh area of Pouni when she was crossing the road. She was rushed to PHC Pouni from where she was referred to GMC Jammu for advance treatment.
