MENDHAR, Mar 21: A minor boy was killed in road accident in Mendhar area of district Poonch today.
A police spokesman said that a vehicle bearing registration No. JK12F/ 6868 hit a 4-year-old boy namely, Mohd Sufian, resident of Sudti village. The vehicle was being driven by Mahroof Ahmed, son of Mohd Azam of Mendhar.
The injured boy was rushed to SDH Mendhar and later referred to GMC, Rajouri. But he succumbed to inquiries in Rajouri hospital this evening. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
