RAMBAN, Apr 8: The vehicle of Union Minister, Kiren Rijiju collided with a truck near Sita Ram Passi, Matoog falling under Ramban Police Station jurisdiction on Srinagar-Jammu National Highway today.

Official sources said Rijiju had a narrow escape when the bulletproof car in which he was travelling was hit by a loaded truck.
They said the truck was reversed and it rammed with Rijiju’s car near Sita Ram Passi, Maroo and the Minister was immediately de-boarded from the car.
He was later boarded in another car and left for his destination Srinagar.
However, no one was injured in the accident.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Headquarters Ramban, Pardeep Singh confirmed the incident and said it was a minor accident and no FIR was registered.
