JAMMU, Apr 15: Joint Migrant Education Employees Association Jammu in an appeal to Deputy Chief Minister Tara Chand has requested him that the migrant promotee teachers be posted in camp schools at Jammu as they will be put to many hardships after dislocating them and posting them in Valley or Ladakh region.
The Association spokesman Bharat Bushan demanded that in case it becomes necessary for the Government to post these teachers in Valley on promotion then a policy of fixed tenure may be adopted and after completion of the same they be brought back to camp schools.
The Association said that the families of these teachers and their old parents putting up at Jammu will be put to problems and families may get dislocated again. Moreover, the promotee teachers do not fall under category of PM’s rehabilitation package which necessitates their posting in Kashmir valley, it added.
