UDHAMPUR, Jan 18: A youth committed suicide by slitting his throat with iron cutter at his residence in ward number 1, Udhampur this evening.
A police spokesman said that MES employee Rahul Kumar Sharma (27), son of Yashpal Sharma resident of Ward No. 1, Udhampur, committed suicide by slitting his throat with iron cutter in his room at home under mysterious circumstances.
Family members saw him and immediately called the Police. SHO Udhampur rushed to the spot with the police team and took the dead body in its custody and then shifted to District Hospital Udhampur for the postmortem. A case was registered and investigation launched.
