KATRA, May 26: A mentally ill pilgrim from Madhya Pradesh attempted suicide at Mata Vaishno Devi Bhawan, here today.
The persons, identified as Gourav 30, son of Bharat of Jabalpur (MP) jumped from Bhawan building near Locker Room and received injuries. He was rushed to Bhawan dispensary for first aid and his condition was stated to be stable.
According to Police, Gourav appears to be mentally ill as was evident from his behaviour before as well as after suicide attempt.
