Mentally disturbed girl handed over to family

JAMMU, Aug 1: Nagrota Police handed over a mentally disturbed girl to her family.
As per police sources, information was received at Police Station Nagrota that a girl was found wandering unnecessary in the Nagrota area and reached at the house of one person namely Ram Dass of Lower Kore Jagir, who is Ward Panch of Panchayat Nagore.
Acting over the information, a team from Police Station Nagrota led by SHO Inspector Mohammad Shoket reached on the spot and took the wandering girl to the police station.
During search and investigation, it was found that the girl belonged to Bishnah and thus contact was established with the family members of the girl who told that the girl was mentally disturbed and was undergoing treatment.
Finally after completing all the legal formalities, the girl was handed over to her family members.
