SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti and National Conference (NC) working president Omar Abdullah expressed pain over the killing of four personnel of state police in an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) blast at apple township of Sopore in Baramulla district on Saturday.
Ms Mufti tweeted, “Pained to hear that four policeman have been killed in an IED explosion in Sopore. My deepest condolences to their families”.
Mr Abdullah also tweeted and said, “Very sad news from #Sopore. May the four brave J&K police personnel killed in the line of duty today rest in piece”.
