JAMMU, Dec 18: In terms of the Circular of the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, with respect to ‘Action Plan for the District Judiciary in the UTs of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh’, a meeting was today convened under the able guidance of Y.P. Bourney, Principal District & Sessions Judge Jammu in District Court Jammu, in the office Chamber of Principal District & Sessions Judge, Jammu.
This meeting was chaired by Y.P. Bourney, Principal District and Sessions Judge Jammu and attended by members of District Case Management Committee constituted which includes Senior District and Sessions Judges, Chief Judicial Magistrate, Senior Superintendent of Police, Public Prosecutor, President Bar Association Jammu, Senior Advocates, etc.
The main objective of convening this meeting in district Jammu was to discuss and take concrete steps and measures to maximize the disposal of old cases and to reduce pendency in District Jammu Courts.
