NOWSHERA, Mar 18: A Medical shop was sealed under NDPS Act by police near Sub District Hospital, Nowshera today.
Official sources said that a police party from Nowshera, acting on an ongoing investigation into Case FIR No. 24/2025 under Sections 8/21/22 of the NDPS Act, under the supervision of SDPO Nowshera and SHO Inspector Arjun Magotra conducted a search at ‘M/s Malik Shah Pharmacy”, a medical shop located near Sub District Hospital, Nowshera.
The search carried out with the assistance of the Drug Control Officer, Nowshera and under the authority of a Court, issued warrant indicating violations of relevant laws. Consequently the medical shop owned by the arrested accused Ankit Kumar, son of Suresh Kumar, resident of Ward No. 5 Nowshera has been closed under Section 22(d) of the Drugs and Cosmetics Act until further orders.
