UDHAMPUR, Nov 6: While conducting a follow-up investigating into the recovery of 70 capsules of Pregabalin made yesterday, Police team of Police Station Chenani traced backward link of the supply and raided a medical shop today.
After the inspection, Radha Krishna Medical Hall at Gauri Kund, being run by Anil Puri son of Jagdish Chand, resident of Bupp, Tehsil Chenani, was sealed by the Drug Control Officer Udhampur for alleged violation of the provisions of the Drugs and Cosmetics Act.
During the course of inspection, 30 additional capsules of Pregabalin were also recovered from the said medical establishment.
District Police Udhampur has issued a warning to all medical establishments to strictly adhere to the regulations concerning the sale of controlled drugs otherwise strict legal action will be taken against those found violating these norms.
