UDHAMPUR, June 2: Continuing its crackdown on the illegal sale of controlled substances. District Police Udhampur in coordination with the Assistant Controller Drugs Udhampur, sealed `Ganesh Medicos’ in Sundrani, Tikri for failing to maintain proper records and selling drugs without valid prescriptions as mandated by law.
During the inspection, team recovered & seized 60 packets of Pregabalin capsules and 10 Tapentadol capsules from the possession of the proprietor namely Parush Sharma of Lehnu, Tikri, without any corresponding sales or purchase records or valid medical prescriptions.
District Police Udhampur has issued a stern warning to all medical establishments to strictly adhere to the regulations concerning the sale of controlled drugs.
