BARAMULLA, Feb 13: A medical-cum-veterinary camp was organized by Army under “Sadhbhavana-XVII” at village Panzipura here, today.
A joint team of doctors from Army and Civil administration, including lady doctors, nursing assistant and paramedics participated in the camp and provided medical assistance to about 400 people, including men, women and children.
Besides, about 550 livestock were also treated at the camp by a team of one veterinary doctor with the help of two assistants.
Handouts on various career prospects were distributed and a lecture on ‘Drug abuse’ was also conducted. Various other stalls, including one by HDFC Bank, a stall on fertilizers and stall of stationery was also on display for the betterment of the locals.
