RAJOURI, Sept 10: On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Abhishek Sharma, the Assistant Regional Transport Officer (ARTO) Rajouri, Rajesh Gupta, in collaboration with the Health Department, today organized a medical camp at the Trial Ground, Rajouri.
The camp was aimed at spreading awareness about the ill effects of drug abuse under the Nasha Mukt Abhiyan, with a special focus on vehicle operators. During the programme, doctors and health experts sensitized drivers about the importance of staying away from substance abuse to ensure personal well-being as well as public safety on roads.
In addition to the awareness session, medical fitness and eye testing of vehicle operators were also conducted by a team of doctors to assess their health status and driving fitness. The initiative was well received by the participants, who appreciated the efforts of the administration to promote both road safety and health awareness.
