JAMMU, Aug 23: Home for the Aged & Infirm, Ambphalla here today in collaboration with Jodhamal Higher Secondary School, Jammu, organized a Multi-Specialty Medical Camp to address varied health needs of the elders at the Home.
A distinguished panel of doctors volunteered their services for the camp. These included Dr. Umang Jamwal, Periodontist and Oral Implantologist, Dr. Sandeep Khosla, CMO (NFSG) and General Practitioner, ESIC Model Hospital, Dr. Sunny Sharma, Senior Consultant (Bone & Joint) and Dr. Nitee Gupta, Senior Consultant, Sharp Sight Eye Hospital.
In addition, free laboratory tests were conducted by the staff of SURE Diagnostic Lab, Trikuta Nagar.
Neetu Johri and Deepali of Jodhamnal School co-ordinated the camp.
Dr. Deep Khare, Principal, students and staff of Jodhamal, Higher Secondary School played an active role in organizing the camp and they also interacted with the inmate elders.
Earlier, the welcome address was delivered by I.D Soni, President of the Home, while Dr. Dinesh Gupta, Secretary of the Home, delivered vote of thanks.
The elder inmates of the Home expressed deep appreciation, describing the camp as both medically beneficial and emotionally uplifting.
Sat Pal Sharma, R.C Vaid, committee members, Dr. R. Thappa and Rajinder Singh, Life Members also participated in the camp.
