JAMMU, Dec 9: In order to do real time monitoring of Mid Day Meal (MDM) Scheme, flagship scheme of Govt of India, an Automated Reporting and Management System (ARMS) is being launched in the State of Jammu and Kashmir.
In this regard, a meeting of incharge MDM of various schools of districts Jammu, Samba and Kathua was held under the chairmanship of S Charandeep, Joint Director (Adm), Directorate of School Education, Jammu for capacity building of officers and officials.
The meeting was also attended by several ZEOs, Headmasters and Assistant Director (Planning) of districts Jammu, Samba and Kathua.
While addressing Charandeep stressed upon the I/c MDMs to become pioneer of this National Programme.
On the occasion, training was imparted to the participants for uploading and updating the right data through SMS keeping in view the hilly terrain of Jammu and Kashmir.
A video on MDM daily data reporting through SMS was also shown to the participants on the occasion.
